Lyrics
Why did everything I once knew have to fade away? My childhood a bleak memory from yesterday. All these wonderful dreams I always hoped would fulfill my life, they were just dreams and I've awoken to the reality of strife.
If someone, if anyone, would just try to understand. hoping for the impossible by hoping in a friend. I have nothing to hope for, no comforting memories. This despairing present I'm trapped in won't set me free.
Upon my pedestal of false intellect, I condemn. No exit from this hell I feel, my suffering so intense. My life seems to be an illusion, am I just confused? Endless cycle of negation, round and round I go.
Chorus
Can't they see, all I need is just a little more time
My thoughts, my words, they've become so sublime
Can't you feel, feel my pain
Can't you see, see my pain
Can't you hear, can't you hear my cries of pain
