Beyond Tears is an emotional song about overwhelming feelings when you are so frustrated you can't even cry and grow numb. Composed by Rod Skelley in his youth, the song had never been recorded. When Adrianna Huss was added as a female vocalist for the band, we tried out her voice on the song with Shawn Huss doing the backups and the result really brought out the true magic in the music. For the electric guitar parts, added an Edge type guitar part to really drive the song forward.

I see the faces so obscured. The world’s finality seems so unsure. Our certainty overwhelmed by fears. And I’m much beyond, I’m much beyond tears.
The final chapter so self-evident and clear. I find it gets harder to look clearly in the mirror. I watch the scenes of my life repeat on and on. The picture clouded by feelings that now are gone.
Listen, open, anyway….Why can’t I stay? The flowing current carries me away. Abstraction, contraction, fear plagues us, darkness over our eyes. I’m overwhelmed and I’m out of time.
