Impermanence was composed by Rod Skelley and inspired by the Deanna Lind poem, Runner.

Lyrics

Someday the sun will not shine. Today I will age. Someday the moon will not be in the sky. Run as I might someday I will crawl. Parts wear out and time steals youth. Change comes to everything under the sun. Dust to dust die we must.
