From the recording Shadows
Lyrics
The Boredom of a Sunlit Day
The blue sky, a blaze with shimmering light reflected, clouds
The warm rage on the cold air
The mountains almost hide their gray buildings in their bosom as the birds begin to fly away
The ground is flushed with hues of brown, yellow, red and gold
The colors swim through the breeze and that air breathes that familiar gasp
Promises of the wilting to come when darkness descends and the trees no longer sound
I will be with you again when the seasons change
I realize that there's nothing new under the sun
The boredom of a sunlit day and my lazy spirit fades
